Problem (Abstract)

When attempting to use License Authorization Wizard (Utility), the text and dialog boxes appear too small to read/use.

Symptom

When attempting to use License Authorization Wizard (Utility), the text and dialog boxes appear too small to read/use. Text size may also be too small for other programs or operating system components.

Cause

Text size for Windows objects is set incorrectly. This is a Microsoft issue, unrelated to the IBM SPSS product.

Environment

Windows 7, Windows 8, 8.1,  Windows 10

Diagnosing the problem

When attempting to use License Authorization Wizard (Utility), the text and dialog boxes appear too small to read/use. Text size may also be too small for other programs or operating system components.

For Windows 10:
(1) Select 'Start'.
(2) Select 'Settings'.
(3) Select 'System'.
(4) Select 'Display'.
(5) Change the position of the 'Change the size of text, apps and other items' slider to increase the size of system fonts.
